The Word Became Flesh
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was with God in the beginning. 3 Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.
I’ve heard numerous sermons on this passage, but none have stayed with me quite like the one written and preached by Theologian and Author John Piper. For our study it is highly recommended you watch his sermon (it’s long - 50 minutes - but worth it). Our discussion will focus on the written sermon.

This passage, while elegantly simple, is packed with complex theology. We’ll see if we can get through it in one setting. Once we get through verse 18 we should be able to set a reasonable schedule for the rest.
On Thursday morning you’ll want to park at the Clubhouse which is the first building you’ll see after passing HCBC. The fireplace area is next to the pool on the lower floor which you can access by walking down the stairs on the right, or down the hill on the left. If you’d like coffee/latte/ you can do that by walking in the left-side door on the first floor.
