America Bless God

Austin Bless God - September 20th, 7-9pm

We love the saying, “God bless America!”   But has America blessed God? Have you blessed God?

Are you tired of sitting on the sidelines of life?   Are you ready to engage your community for Christ?

Join us on Monday Evening, 7-9, at the Church at Canyon Creek for an evening of prayer, testimony, and discussion about the critical issues of our day, and the way Christians are impacting their world for Christ.

We'll hear from three Kingdom Activists, taking stands for Christ in different arenas of life, but united in their love, passion, and obedience to the commands of our Lord.

You'll have opportunities to meet and learn more about the many active mission and ministry projects based in Austin.

Guest Speakers

Judge John Devine

Watch the video to see how this Houston lawyer decided to make a stand after a Judge in Houston ruled that Christians could not PRAY on public property!

While in office, the ACLU sued demanding John remove the 10 commandments from his courtroom.  He fought them and won.

Chris Danze

A lifelong Austinite, Chris soon became Planned Parenthood's "Enemy #1," by his remarkable boycott against the development of the new "Choice Project" - an abortion clinic capable of performing partial-birth abortions.

Michael Hatcher

Fort Worth based Michael Hatcher realized that the social work he was doing for his clients, the homeless of downtown Ft. Worth, was not enough. He knew they needed to know the truth of Jesus Christ, and they needed a church.

Michael has become their Pastor, and a Church without walls flourishes ...

Participating Austin Based Ministries and Missions

Christian Women's Job Corps of Austin

Christian Women's Job Corps is all about women helping other women.  For many women in poverty, an attitude of hopelessness about exiting the poverty cycle is based upon very real barriers to accessing employment networks.

Our purpose is to provide Christian training in which women in need are equipped for life and employment.  Some of the classes generally offered include computer training, life skills (budgeting, health care, nutrition, communication, etc.), resume preparation and work search skills training.  Two key aspects of our program are mentoring and Bible study.

True girl power is about being liberated in Jesus Christ and living a life in accordance to His will. Virtuous Reality Ministries is committed to encouraging young women to make virtue a reality. If virtue is to be a reality, the movement must first begin in individual hearts, one girl at a time.
